1. What this policy covers
This policy describes what information arich.design collects when you visit the site or submit the contact form, how it's used, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information collected
Two categories of data are collected:
- Inquiry form submissions — name, email, company (optional), project type, budget range, message, and your acknowledgment of these terms.
- Anonymized site analytics — aggregate visit data (page views, referrer, country) via Plausible Analytics. No cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
3. How information is used
Information you submit is used only to:
- Respond to your inquiry and evaluate fit for a potential engagement.
- Follow up about a potential or active project.
- Aggregate analytics to improve the site.
4. What your information is never used for
Your information is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used for mass marketing. There are no lead-gen email sequences or drip campaigns.
5. Service providers
A few third-party services are involved in operating the site:
- Cloudflare Workers (cloudflare.com) — receives the form submission, validates it, and hands it to the email provider. Nothing is stored; the request is only in memory for the duration of the POST.
- Emailit (emailit.com) — transactional email delivery for submissions from the contact form. Their privacy policy governs that hand-off.
- Plausible Analytics (plausible.io) — collects anonymized site metrics. No cookies are set by this analytics provider.
- Standard business email — used to store and respond to messages from the contact form.
6. Retention
Inquiry emails are retained in my inbox and archive as long as they're useful for business records or an ongoing client relationship. You can request deletion at any time.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information related to your inquiry. Email [email protected] and I will action the request within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels. Plausible Analytics is cookieless by design. Local storage is used only for minor site preferences (e.g. the optional in-page editor, accessible only to authorized IPs).
9. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect submitted information, but no online transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or data requests, email [email protected].
